Q: I live in a 15-unit building. An owner is suing the board members because she had mold in her unit. Two other units below her also have this problem, but are cooperating with the board to remedy it. The board is doing everything it can to eliminate the mold, including investigations, parapet wall repair, roof work and tuck-pointing.

Our bylaws state that the directors and officers are not liable personally for any loss to the association or its members while performing their duties.
