A potentially hazardous case of mold has forced a Box Elder family to abandon its home.
Jamie Moya, 28, her husband, William, 27, and their children Autumn, 12, Jade, 7, and Syrene, 3, were forced from their trailer home Friday afternoon by a layer of mold growing beneath the carpeting, according to Donna Reeves, Jamie Moya's mother.
Reeves said the family's woes started Monday when a pipe burst in the children's bathroom while members of the family were at work. Over the course of the day, the two bedrooms and bath were saturated.
