A South Tyneside pensioner is being driven up the wall by mould in her home.
Mary Dickson says she has battled with the bacteria growing on the furniture and walls inside her South Tyneside Homes (STH) property in Marsden Lane, South Shields, for the past five years.
Housing chiefs inspected the property in June and didn't
find any mould or damp problem, and gave the 71-year-old advice on how to deal with condensation, such as opening her windows and putting the heating on full blast to dry out the room.
