Crews are continuing to clean-up mold at Fire Station 12 on Barrow Road in High Point.

The city closed the station at the end of September when maintenance workers found toxic mold in the ceiling tiles.

The city has not said what is causing the mold.

Earlier this month, an air quality test at Fire Station 13 suggested there was no mold in the building, according to High Point Building Maintenance Director Tim McKinney. However, city officials spotted mold above the ceiling tiles on the second floor living space earlier this week.
