ELIOT, Maine — Selectmen have agreed to let the Community Service Department remain at its temporary home at the Fire Department rather than move to the Police Department.

The Community Service Department was moved out of its former location in May because mold was found in the building that was causing health problems for employees.

Subsequent testing confirmed the widespread presence of mold and this, plus serious structural issues with the building, prompted the department to move to a temporary location in a conference room in the fire station.
