An informational event to aid 2008 flood victims is scheduled in Norridge.
The village recently announced the free event is scheduled for June 22 at the Estelle Sieb Community Center, 7774 W. Irving Park Road.
Arrival and registration starts at 6 p.m., a brief presentation about the grant will be at 6:30 p.m. and grant application assistance at 7 p.m.
A $10.3 million Cook County Disaster Grant will help county residents with property repairs, mold remediation and other issues related to the September and October 2008 flooding.
