Some High Point residents got a chance to explore the city's newest fire station.

Station Four opened in February to accommodate growth in northwest High Point. Visitors had the chance Wednesday night to see the equipment and trucks, and meet the firefighters.

Station Four was built with $2 million dollars in 2004 voter-approved bonds, and Fire Chief David Taylor said it will serve the area for years to come.
