EUGENE, Ore - When Jennifer and Nathan Blakely found a property in North Eugene, they thought they had a place to call home.
But after buying the house on Hunsaker Lane, they said their dream of raising their kids slowly turned into a nightmare.
"It's so rotted, it comes apart in your hand," said Nathan as he touched the wall in his living room.
About a year ago he said they found the walls were slowly rotting away. It was discovered by a contractor who was hired to install a new window in the front of their home.
