KINGSTON SPRINGS — Fire chief Eugene “Bubba” Ivey estimates that 300 homes suffered flood damage with roughly half being total losses.
City manager Laurie Cooper said one of the areas hardest hit was Harpeth View Trail between Harpeth High and Harpeth Middle schools, where three houses washed away, two others were torn up and 15 had major water damage.
The Harpeth Meadows subdivision had between 10 and 15 houses with significant structural damage.
Fifteen houses behind the water treatment plant in downtown were hit as well as three residences along Kingston Springs Road near Kingston Springs Elementary School.
