ELIOT, Maine — Mold issues have forced the town Community Service Department offices to move to the fire station temporarily while staff awaits a formal report on the presence of mold and further investigation of structural issues, said officials at Thursday's Board of Selectmen meeting.

The department's move into the back conference room at the fire station has brought about an immediate improvement to the headaches, coughing and other symptoms that have bothered staff recently, said Eliot Town Administrator Dan Blanchette at the meeting.
