STATE ROAD — A group of concerned friends came together for a meeting at the Mountain Park Volunteer Fire Station/Rescue Squad building Tuesday night to try to find a solution for a family that is about to lose their home.

About 100 people came to the meeting to see what is needed to help the family and to put in their two cents on how to help the family keep a roof over their heads. The meeting was headed up by Lisa VanHorn, a long-time friend of Mark and Regina Wood.

The ultimate goal of the group is to make sure the family has housing that it can comfortably afford so that it will not find itself in this situation again.
