In the heat of the day Wednesday morning, Selectmen Aboul Khan, Bob Moore and Brendan Kelly and Town Manager Barry Brenner met briefly in the selectmen's meeting room on the second floor of Town Hall to witness first hand the mold removal project that has been under way since the spring.
Guy Sylvester, principal industrial hygienist and owner of Absolute Air Quality, reviewed the history of the project to present and explained the process involved in the work being done by Chris Sullivan and Bill Bowers, owners of Certrex Certified Restoration Excellence.
The mold situation was discovered in the town clerk's offices on the first floor of the building, which was built in 1981, and apparently without regard for insulation between sheetrock and the brick exterior.
