A mold infestation at the Temple Police Headquarters has forced the city to file a lawsuit against the contractors who just recently built it.

News Channel 25 obtained a copy of a lawsuit filed against four Texas contractors responsible for the development. The lawsuit alleges negligence and "defective workmanship" on behalf of the contractors which lead to the second recent mold problem for the Temple Police Department. In 2006, a substation in West Temple was closed down for six months while toxic mold was removed from the facility.
