While Town Hall is being rid of its toxic mold, the process stands to provide savings in energy as well.

Due to the discovery of inadequate insulation throughout the building, that issue is being rectified by the installation of closed cell foam insulation to act as an air barrier and thermal insulation system.

According to findings issued by Builders Installed Products of Manchester, improvements are being made to Town Hall's current attic insulation system, which has been deficient in controlling air movement and also lacking as an effective heat barrier.
