The hot, humid summer continues to cause problems at Upstate schools, with mold reported in two more high schools.

On Wednesday, Greenville School District officials said mold was found at Mauldin High and Greer High.

The release said a second football locker room at Mauldin High School remains closed after test results indicated a moderate level of mold.

The release said, “While the environmental engineering firm has recommended further cleaning of the cellulose fireproofing material above the sheetrock ceiling, as a preventive and precautionary measure we are replacing this material.
