Canberra, Australia - The Australian Education Union (AEU) says a school building in Canberra's south should be closed to check for elevated mould levels.
High levels of mould were discovered in a wing of Farrer Primary School late last year.
Students and teachers were evacuated and the wing was temporarily closed.
Some parents vividly remember their children's sickness.
"They got flu and they have been very, very sick," said one mother outside the school.
The ACT Education Department has spent close to $200,000 since then trying to reduce mould and increase ventilation.
