WINSTED — Several parents have had concerns about a mold problem in Hinsdale Elementary School, and some town and school officials have publicly shared their views.

Superintendent of Schools Thomas Danehy addressed three parents at the Oct. 11 Board of Education meeting, assuring them that the school system is investigating the problem. According to school building committee chairman Joe Beadle, “There is an issue there, and it should’ve been taken care of.”
