All day Friday, confused Wrightsboro Elementary School parents were mistakenly making phone calls to Holly Tree Elementary School.

They were actually trying to contact Holly Shelter Middle School, where students in grades 1-5 will spend the rest of the year after mold spores were found in the remaining buildings at Wrightsboro this week.

As of yet, Holly Shelter Middle School does not have a contact phone number.

The district has set up a temporary phone number at its central office for Wrightsboro parents.

Though the new school has its occupancy permits, the district wasn't planning on installing Holly Shelter's furniture, phone and electronics systems until April, said Bill Hance, assistant superintendent for planning, technology and operations.

That schedule has been fast forwarded now because Wrightsboro needs the space starting April 5 through the end of the year while mold in the school is being cleaned up.
