Dozier Elementary's school building is getting a thorough spring cleaning this week.
With students away on spring break, a team of mold specialists with the local firm EnviroTek descended on Dozier's campus to begin properly sanitizing the entire school because of a suspected mold outbreak dating back to August.
In August, a consultant hired by the school system found mold in several areas of the school, and parents raised concerns about students' health and whether Dozier was safe for children to attend.
