This is a good illustration of the pervasive ignorance about mold. Mold is harmful to people when it's growing INDOORS, but it's growing virtually everywhere outdoors. Tearing down a mold-infested house would merely allow mold to disperse, which is normal. The moldy and/or rotten materials could then be safely landfilled. Burning the house down is not only unnecessary, it adds an extra element of danger that's just foolish.
