OAK CREEK - The sump pump in John Taylor’s basement just didn’t sound right Tuesday morning.
“Water started to bubble up a little bit,” Taylor explained. “We started to hear the pump. It got pretty hot.”
Sump pumps are the front line in protecting a home from water damage. They displace water that gathers around the foundation. The April showers endured by the Milwaukee area this week are a reminder to ensure those pumps are in working order.
