Attorney Dan Tracy, of the Goldenberg, Mackler law firm in Atlantic City, confirmed Wednesday morning that, over the past few weeks, he has filed workers compensation claims with the state Division of Labor and Workforce Development on behalf of three employees who may have been exposed to mold while working at the Lower Township Public Safety Building, located at the Cape May County Airport.

The employees have asked that they not be identified at this time.

Tracy explained that in May of this year, construction was being done by private contractors inside the building when they removed “plaster board or pieces of the ceiling” and “found a great deal of what appeared to be black mold.”
